Created in 2021, Sefárdica is born from personal passion and moral commitment
Sefárdica, from “judaica” and “Sephardi” in Spanish, was born as a personal project and moral commitment. Seldom is Sephardi history talked about, and rarely are Sephardi contributions acknowledged.
It is also a moral obligation of Sephardi descendants, whatever their religion and location be, to honour the memory of their ancestors through the preservation of this culture that was forced to hide for years.
Mission
Our mission is to bring awareness and professionally teach about the Sephardi people and all their history and culture. Likewise, we support the discovery of Sephardi roots and all those that work to preserve Sephardi culture.
Vision
Our vision is to be the main centre for learning and discovery about Sephardi history because of easy access to information. We hope to be a safe place where Sephardim and descendants of the Sephardim can coexist.
